Convenience

Just 75km South of Brisbane or 30km West of the Gold Coast. It feels like you’re a world away, but we’re close enough to visit many Gold Coast or National Park attractions.

Facilities

Both sides of the park have flushing toilets, but we do not have showers. The park does not have town water. Water is pumped from the river for cleaning and general use, but is not suitable for drinking.

Swimming

Enjoy the beautiful natural setting of the pebbled creek situated between both parks. Bring a picnic down to the water’s edge and watch the young children paddling in the shallow clear waters or slide into the running water yourself to cool off on a warm summer’s day.

Camp fires

We allow fires on every camp site and allocate fire pits to each site. Fires are dependent on weather and council restrictions. Firewood is available to purchase onsite or you are welcome to bring your own.

Pet Friendly

Pets are welcome. For the enjoyment and safety of all guests we ask that pets be restrained at all times and their droppings picked up and disposed of correctly.

Enjoy the beautiful natural setting of the pebbled creek that separates the 2 parks. Cool down in the shallow waters or bring a tube to float around the river bend and explore the surroundings.

Situated in the middle of the park is a large grassy oval that provides a safe space for children and adults alike to run, play and socialise.

Experience the beauty of the native flora and fauna Sharp Park has to offer. There are platypuses and turtles in the river, possums and bandicoots roaming at night and many species of birds inhabit the bushland surrounds.

CARAVANS & CAMPSITES

Acres of large open grassy sites surrounded by native tress, bushland and a short walk to the river. Some sites are situated under large shady trees and have bare ground due to their popularity.

Come set up your caravan, campervan or tent, on one of the powered or non-powered sites and best of all, there is plenty of space between you and your neighbours.

We pride ourselves on giving campers the space they need, or happy to accommodate you in a group, close to friends and family if this is your preference.
